I was brought into the redesign of the TCS World Travel website in the middle of the first sprint to help troubleshoot and develop the visual design system. The result was an Addy Award-winning digital experience, part travelog and part high-end brochure that was worthy of their luxurious expeditions.

This is a motion study for an infographic microsite concept to showcase how a business case study could be elevated with elements of interactive discovery, animation, and powerful visual storytelling.

Microsoft Research asked us to take their visual guidelines and envision how it could be applied to a redesign of key pages of their website. After the “Deep Focus” concept was selected I worked with a visual designer to redesign these storytelling sections of the site by restyling some existing components and creating several new components, such as an interactive timeline of key moments. We infused each component with a visual direction that embodies the energy of deep discovery with pops of inspirational gradients and intentional white space to encourage exploration.

Microsoft asked us to create a case study to celebrate Seattle Reign FC’s partnership with Microsoft 365. Working with a copywriter, we presented four concepts, including the chosen concept of “Small moves, big wins,” which drew a line between the team’s training regimen and the changes made to their IT approach. I designed a microsite that brought the case study to life through dynamic motion created from previously static photography, as well as animated details that draw the reader through the narrative.

The VMware vCloud Air team asked us to create a destination site for their offering that wasn’t shy about its dominance over the competition. As lead visual designer on the project I combined motion, live action, and illustration to capture attention and show why they are the most powerful cloud solution in an unexpected way.
