Gap Inc.
In late 2019 Gap Inc. came to us to bring the rest of their corporate site up to the standard set by an earlier redesign we had completed of their newsroom and careers site. In addition, they wanted the redesign to reflect a proposed brand overhaul, and include an entire new site for Old Navy.
At the time, Gap Inc. was planning on spinning off Old Navy as a separate public offering. As Art Director I worked with our UX team and visual designers to create 12 page layouts and dozens of components in the Old Navy brand style. I also worked with a motion designer and our dev team to create a motion study and envision how each component would move.
While the Old Navy site was in development, I worked with a designer to create moodboard concepts to show how the Gap Inc. site could reflect their new brand. At that time Gap Inc. decided not to spin off Old Navy as a separate company and to set aside their brand refresh. Though our clients were in a state of shock, we were able to quickly pivot and build upon the work we had completed to create a full site for Gap Inc. in their existing brand style.
