Microsoft tasked us with a teaser video to generate interest and awareness for their new platform for collaboration and innovation called Chrysalis. I worked with a talented designer and illustrator to provide three mood board concepts, including the chosen concept centered around organic transformation and growth of ideas. I continued to direct the video through script writing, storyboards, motion, and final editing.

The Surface team asked us to turn a static infographic about the benefits of using Surface devices into a dynamic and shareable video for their social channels. With a deep knowledge of the Surface brand I worked with a designer to create two mood board concepts for the look and feel, as well as the storyboards. I continued to work with the motion designer from the initial animatics, to music selection, and through to the final edits.

Microsoft Office asked us to come up with a campaign that would encourage customers to explore their huge library of templates. Of the seven ideas we presented, the chosen concept focused around planning a trip around the world. While such a trip might be over the top, it served as an attention grabbing hook while we provided realistic travel advice and useful templates, including additional videos for a weekend trip and a dream vacation. I worked with the copywriter to develop three storyboards, which I illustrated, as well as an accompanying email campaign. I then worked with our motion designer to bring the videos to life with lively animation.

Microsoft Learn asked us to create two video trailers to promote their Power Platform and Dynamics 365 courses. I worked with a visual designer and motion designer to translate their brand, which uses a subway-map-style learning path as the key graphic element, into an energetic motion piece that propels the viewer through the course overview.
