<image:caption>Microsoft Research asked us to take their visual guidelines and envision how it could be applied to a redesign of key pages of their website. After the “Deep Focus” concept was selected I worked with a visual designer to redesign these storytelling sections of the site by restyling some existing components and creating several new components, such as an interactive timeline of key moments. We infused each component with a visual direction that embodies the energy of deep discovery with pops of inspirational gradients and intentional white space to encourage exploration.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Microsoft asked us to create a case study to celebrate Seattle Reign FC’s partnership with Microsoft 365. Working with a copywriter, we presented four concepts, including the chosen concept of “Small moves, big wins,” which drew a line between the team’s training regimen and the changes made to their IT approach. I designed a microsite that brought the case study to life through dynamic motion created from previously static photography, as well as animated details that draw the reader through the narrative.</image:caption>

We decided to go beyond the original ask and presented additional campaign extensions that wowed the client. <image:caption>The Microsoft Edge team asked us to help execute their digital launch campaign. After the initial rounds of visual and motion concepts of the nine campaign themes, I helped art direct hundreds of banner ads, social posts, site takeovers, tv ads, videos, and custom placements. As the member of the team with the most experience working with Microsoft, I played a crucial role in keeping the visuals consistently on-brand across the various teams while the campaign guidelines shifted on a daily basis. As a result, the client asked us back to help with a second quick-turn campaign for the holiday shopping season.</image:caption>

<image:caption>As part of a long term engagement with Xbox I had the opportunity to art direct and design several email campaign concepts. With each campaign we pushed the boundaries of what could be done in a mobile-optimized email with the goal of matching the immersive and striking graphics Xbox is known for.</image:caption>

<image:caption>As part of an ongoing partnership with the Microsoft Surface commercial team, I concepted, art directed, and designed numerous social media posts and videos across their Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn channels. From new device launch campaigns, to thought leadership, we helped them reach business leaders, ITDMs, and small business owners.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Target’s media channel, Roundel, asked us to help create internal, external, and social media ads for the holiday rush. As Art director I worked with a team of copywriters and designers to create hundreds of placements for a diverse set of brands. We were able to successfully create ads with tight copy and engaging visuals on a rapid timeline that adhered to the constantly shifting campaign guidelines, while satisfying the needs of the Roundel team and the individual brand stakeholders.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Microsoft Office asked us to create the theme for an event promoting collaboration to the CMOs of their existing customers. We brainstormed and presented five event themes. The resulting theme, “The Art of Teams,” was ultimately blown out into a larger campaign. As lead designer I created the logotype, campaign playbook, event collateral, a magazine-style case study, a nurture email series, and several use case infographics.</image:caption>

Collaborating with a designer and copywriter in Figma, we provided two distinct concepts including the chosen concept, Future in Progress, which used deconstructed visual elements to channel the forward-moving energy of the Foundation's futuristic thinking.</image:caption>
